Investment in this five-star project is $40 million. It will have 129 sea-view rooms, out of which 11 are suites. Room rack rates will be $100-$300.
The hotel comprises five restaurants, including Signatures by Le Cordon Bleu, as well as three conference rooms, and a gym. It will open a spa in later stages.
The hotel has created around 100 jobs. Giles Stonehouse is the General Manager.
Le Cordon Bleu chain, chaired by French businessman André Cointreau, is also a network of educational institutions dedicated to providing culinary and hospitality instruction.
Chady Morcos, Sales and Marketing Manager, said: “The project was originally built as a hospitality school, but the owners decided later to open it as a hotel.”
